Verjuice honey roasted pears

- 3 Pears, peeled
- 2 Tbsp (40mls) Verjuice
- 2 Tbsp (40mls) Honey
- 2 Tbsp (50gms) Unsalted Butter

Pre heat a fan forced oven to 220c.
Cut the peeled pears in half lengthways place into a small baking dish with fitting lid so that they fit snugly.
Pour the verjuice and honey and dot the butter over the pears, cover with a round of baking paper on top of the pears and place into the pre-heated oven with a lid on the baking dish and roast for approx 2 hrs till they are gently burnished one side and turn over and return to the oven for another 10 minutes without the lid (timing will depend entirely on ripeness of pear and size and ‘medium’ of cooking vessel).
Remove from oven and allow to cool for 15 minutes before serving with runny cream or creme fraiche.
